ACS Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the delivery of a Lantronic Model TT30 Lead-Free Hot Air Leveling System. Electronic Components and Services, Inc., Fox Lake, WI, has taken delivery of the Lead-Free Model TT30 which features the patented Tru Track 45° Clamping Systems. The Tru Track system secures the PCB’s at the top and bottom of the panel insuring superior leveling of quad packs and prevents the PCB’s from bowing during the descent into the solder pot providing a more front-to-back uniformity. In addition, the Lantronic Lead-Free systems provides single cycle coverage below 500º F, removal of dross from top of solder pot, and efficient heating which maintains solder pot and air knife temperatures during production cycles. ECS confirmed that “the Lantronic system was selected above all others systems because of its proven performance and reliability”. Lantronic has been manufacturing HASL systems for over 20 years and has successfully installed over 400 systems worldwide.
